In With the New!

What an amazing action packed adventure these past few days have been. Where to begin with life since Thursday? Friday was amazing for I was able to pay significant amounts of money on all three of my credit cards, I cancelled one of my gym memberships (yes, I'm the dope that has two), and I finally was able to take my Yorkies to get their vaccines (yes, I was 2 months behind on those). So, I was brimming all day with feelings of accomplishment. Let's just see how I fare next month when bill time comes around... Saturday my sorority had goal setting which I attended with mixed expectations. There's been so much drama and putting each other down that I'm really just over it. Especially considering I'm graduating soon and heading off to move on with my life in every aspect of the phrase! The fun part was afterwards when 3 of my sisters who are the only reason I'm still in and myself went to a mexican restaurant and then out shopping. Moving on to today, I get to the title of my post. For so long I've been saying that I'd like a more sophisticated wardrobe with classic pieces. I'm beginning to feel a bit more sophisticated and grown up than my teen years favorite XXI. For the longest my mom has been telling me to check out places like H&M, New York & Company, & Ann Taylor Loft. So I did. And I fell in love! Also, I've been offered a job to teach high school English in the fall, so I might want to get a halfway decent casual wardrobe together if I decide to take the offer. From New York & Company (where I also got $15 city bucks to use the next time I shop!)...

I never can figure out if I'm an A cup or a B cup but I did find two bras that fit at Gap on sale so I got a red one and a white one. Old Navy is having a crazy sale where it's an additional 50% off clearance so I got a pair of light skinny jeans for $7 and a sparkly white sweater for $10! To complete a weekend of greatness, I got my blackberry pearl back activated, and lunch at The Cheesecake Factory with my brother! I love extra scholarship money!!
Oh yeah, I got the CUTEST Obama shirt to wear this Tuesday!!!

I love when I have that feeling of accomplishment from paying the bills, and dread the after feeling of being so goddamn broke.

I used to be really confused about the whole cup size thing, but I've finally figured it out. If you're a 34A, you can either wear a 34A or a 33B. They're the same size, apparently.

Congratulations on the job!

Wait no, I meant 32B. 32? I think 32 because they only come in even numbers....

LOVE those jeans!

It's rough moving from one "age" in clothing to another...I still haven't done it as well as I should!

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your comments on my blog! I'm so glad you stopped by :) To answer your question, I currently work in public relations. It's not that I don't like PR, I've just learned you have to find the right company that works with your style. As an english major there are tons of possibilities out there for you. You just have to be able to get your foot in the door and sell yourself a/b why you could take on that position. Do lots of networking, that helps with opportunities, and helps you learn more about what is available out there for you. I noticed you're from Georgia,so am I! Though living in TX now :-)
